Job opportunity – Postdoctoral Fellow in Organic/Supramolecular chemistry

Dean of the Faculty of Science open the position of Postdoctoral Fellow in Organic/Supramolecular chemistry. Individuals with strong skills in organic synthesis and supramolecular chemistry are encouraged to apply and join the research team led by Prof. Vladimír Šindelář. The successful candidate will be involved in the synthesis and purification of new urea-based macrocycles and will investigate its supramolecular properties.   • A Ph.D. degree received within the last 10 years in chemistry or the field related to the research topic
  • Proven expertise in organic synthesis and / or the characterization of supramolecular host-guest systems in the solution will be desirable.
  • Interest and motivation to tackle scientific challenges, independent planning of experiments to explore given hypotheses, technical skills to conduct experimental work
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, troubleshoot technical issues, and develop and execute detailed technical protocols
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
