"Best Poster Award" at RECETOX doctoral conference

The RECETOX doctoral conference took place on 25th and 26th May. Its important part was the presentation of postgraduate students' posters. The authors gained the "Best Poster Award". Traditionally, the posters were divided into two categories according to the student's year of study. The first category was for students in their first and second year of doctoral studies, while the second was devoted to students in their third and fourth years.

Given the situation in previous years, this was the first conference in person. All students presented their work and discussed it directly with their fellow students and other colleagues. This year, 34 posters were presented, 16 in the first category and 18 in the second category. As well as last time, the evaluators of all posters were Ph.D. students themselves – they chose the winners of individual categories.

Two students succeeded in the first category. Both got the same number of points.

  • Daniela Gachová, with the poster Oral Microbiota in Patients with Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma a
  • Kateřina Zukalová, with the poster Inhalation Injury Infectious Complications and Microbiome of Airways.

After the state exam, there was also the evaluation of studies by RECETOX doctoral students with the participation of the doctoral program board members and supervisors of students. This evaluation was also positive.

Congratulations to all the winners of the "Best Poster Award".
