RECETOX hosts the National Center for Toxic Compounds (NC) in the Czech Republic and the Stockholm Convention Regional Center (RC) for Capacity Building and Technology Transfer. The Centers support the transfer of new research findings into environmental practice nationally and internationally, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe.
The National Center connects RECETOX to public and private partners and identifies environmental and health application opportunities. The Regional Center partners with United Nations implementing agencies (UNEP, UNIDO, UNDP) to develop global monitoring and information systems and build capacities.
RECETOX is also active in the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) coordinating international efforts to build a Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS). RECETOX is a lead GEOSS partner in the area of Health and the GEO initiative on Global Observation System for Persistent Organic Pollutants (GOS4POPs).
