Petra Bořilová Linhartová, PhD
PI - Environmental genomics

Naty graduated at MU, Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Master’s degree in Bioanalytical Laboratory Diagnostics in Medicine - Bioanalytic. During her undergraduate studies she focused on Pharmacogenetics in patients using proton pump inhibitors. Now as a PhD student at RECETOX she focuses on the microbiome and pharmacotherapy in patients with gastrointestinal disease. In the Environmental Genomics research group she is also involved in clinical sample processing, genotyping and gene expression.

Zuzka is an orthodontist and specialist in the sleep medicine. She is a member of the Environmental Genomics research group and is currently on a work placement at RECETOX RI. Her doctoral research focused on genetic predispositions to orthodontic anomalies, their complications and treatment. She holds a degree in Dentistry from the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University. During her PhD studies, she completed an international internship at the Manzo Clinica Odontoiatrica (MCO) in Frattamaggiore, and also an internship at the Pediatric ENT Department with a specialization in sleep medicine and sleep laboratory at Azienda Ospedaliera Sant' Andrea in Rome, under the supervision of Professor Maria P. Villa.

David is a PhD student in the field of Dentistry and Otorhinolaryngology at the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University. He is a member of the Environmental Genomics research group and he has an internship at RECETOX RI. In his dissertation, he deals with the study of the molecular etiopathogenesis of apical periodontitis and odontogenic cysts. He holds a degree from both General Medicine and Dentistry from the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University. During his PhD studies, he completed an internship on the department of maxillofacial surgery in Vienna on the Medicinische Universität Wien.

Sabina is a laboratory technician at RECETOX in the Environmental Genomics research group. She is involved in the analysis of the oral microbiome, as well as research on gut microbiome in animal models. She is a Master's student in Analytical Biochemistry at the Faculty of Science MU and her thesis is focused on the phenotypic expression of GALNT3 mutation in a mouse model.

Adam works at RECETOX as a laboratory technician in the Environmental Genomics research group. He is currently focused on the study of bio-markers for Barrett's esophagus and adenocarcinoma of the esophagus. He is a master's student in Experimental Animal Biology and Immunology at the Faculty of Science MU with a focus on physiology. As part of his bachelor's studies, he dealt with the influence of the microbiome on humans through short fatty acids.
