Assoc. Prof. Pavel Čupr
Head of "Human Exposure Assessments and Risks" research group
Pavel Čupr is an assistant professor at RECETOX at Masaryk University and the leader of the research group of Human Exposure Assessment and Risks. He has an expertise in the assessment of human exposure and risks related to inhalation, ingestion and dermal contact of chemicals, in DNA damages as a biomarker of human exposure, in the interpretation of human biomonitoring data and toxicokinetic modeling.
He has been involved in several EU FP projects and served as a PI of international and national projects. He is a member of ISEE - International Society for Environmental Epidemiology and Council of National Centre for Toxic Compounds in CR.
He published more than 62 WoS papers, has >1280 citations, h-index 22. He has supervised 12 Ph.D. students of the Centre (8 Ph.D.graduates).
He is teaching a number of courses, such as Risk Analysis, Ecotoxicological Bioassays, Advanced Methods in Ecotoxicology or Environmental chemistry. He is a member of the doctoral committee in the field of Ecotoxicology and Environmental chemistry.
