Kelsey's secondment at CSIC-CEAB in Spain

Our ESR, Kelsey Ng, spent his hybrid summer secondment at the Spanish National Research Council – Center for Advanced Studies of Blanes CSIC-CEAB). He performed a case study in collaboration with our ESR 12 - Nuria Rubio. This study investigated the occurrence of a wide range of environmental pollutants (such as antibiotics and plant protection products) in the rivers of Catalunya. Audrey’s summer secondment at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam

Our ESR, Audrey Phan, spent her summer secondment at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VUA). She was working with Pim Leonards, Marja Lamoree, Lisa Bauman, and Lara Hofer. Her stay was focused on investigating the intricate cross-talk between retinoic acid signaling and thyroid hormone disruption at the tissue and organ levels. Susan's secondment at NIVA Copenhagen

Our ESR, Susan Oginah, spent her hybrid secondment at the Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA) from May to July 2023. She was working with Knut Erik Tollefsen and Jes Rasmussen. Based on available datasets, the main aim of her secondment was to define the boundary conditions of different methods for linking the ecotoxicity effect to species loss. Niamh O’Connor Secondment to RIVM

Our ESR, Niamh O’Connor, spent a week of her month-long hybrid secondment at the National Institute of Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) in June 2023. She was working with Leo Postuma and Colleagues. Her stay was focused on exploring whether applying more ecological context to traditional SSDs could offer insights into chemical effects on ecological functions.
