Children could participate in various activities at the St. Nicholas party. At several stations, they enthusiastically made candle holders and Christmas trees out of pinecones and scratched out glittery pictures with a Christmas theme. There was also the traditional gingerbread decorating by Maruška Smutná and a corner with musical instruments. Carols were played tirelessly by Nina Pálešová, Barbora Rudzanová, Michal Bittner, and Jakub Urík. Simona Krupčíková deserved great attention as she showed us an unusual sport discipline of rabbit hop and how rabbits skillfully jump over obstacles. The children were thrilled to see the cute rabbits, who overcame one obstacle after another and were very happy to pet them. Of course, St. Nicholas, the devil, and the angel arrived at the party equipped with the Book of Sins and lavish St. Nicholas packages for excited children.
The Christmas party was preceded by the traditional Christmas gathering, where the director and principal investigators summarised the most important milestones of the past year. Special attention was paid to the 40th anniversary of our center.
The staff enjoyed a rich buffet and mixed drinks at the Christmas party. A great DJ enhanced the atmosphere.
We thank all our staff for their hard work and dedication throughout the year, which brought many successes and challenges. We wish you a happy and peaceful holiday season and much success, joy, and health for the coming year.
